Hilti HIT-RE 500 V4 vs fischer FIS EM Plus vs Sika AnchorFix®-2+ vs FISFIX 390
See how FISFIX 390 measures up against Hilti HIT-RE 500 V4, fischer FIS EM Plus and Sika AnchorFix®-2+ — using each manufacturer's published data — and what factory-direct supply changes for your project economics.
Quick answer: all four are injection adhesives for post-installed rebar and threaded rod. Hilti HIT-RE 500 V4 and fischer FIS EM Plus are epoxy systems; Sika AnchorFix®-2+ is a fast-curing epoxy-acrylate with a much shorter working window. FISFIX 390 is a two-component pure epoxy with ≥ 90 MPa compressive strength, 30 min working time at 30°C and 12 h full cure at 23°C (TDS-FISFIX390-V202604), supplied factory-direct with OEM labelling.
Which anchoring epoxy for post-installed rebar: Hilti, fischer, Sika or FISFIX 390?
Engineers and purchasers comparing injection anchoring adhesives usually shortlist the big brands first. The chemistry matters — pure epoxy for deep rebar embedment and long working time, epoxy-acrylate where speed matters more than working window — and so does the supply chain: brand-channel pricing, minimum orders, and no room for your own brand. For chemistry-first selection see our anchoring adhesive selection guide.
FISFIX 390 is FidStrong's two-component epoxy for post-installed rebar and threaded rod in structural retrofit, manufactured at our Shandong production base and exported from Shanghai to 50+ countries. Frequently asked questions
What is the fischer equivalent of Hilti HIT-RE 500 V4?
fischer's epoxy injection mortar for post-installed rebar is FIS EM Plus. Both are ETA-assessed epoxy systems, but design values differ by approval and must be taken from each ETA — they cannot be compared as a single number.
How strong is FISFIX 390?
Compressive strength ≥ 90 MPa, flexural strength ≥ 70 MPa, bond to C30 concrete ≥ 11 MPa and to C60 ≥ 18 MPa (Φ25). Example from the TDS load table: a Ø16 Grade 60 rebar at 160 mm embedment in uncracked C30 concrete reaches 83.4 kN at bar yield, no safety factor applied (TDS-FISFIX390-V202604).
Can FISFIX 390 be installed in damp holes or cold weather?
Yes. The TDS lists dry or damp drill holes and installation down to −10°C; double the cure time in water-saturated holes.
What is the price difference vs Hilti or fischer?
We do not publish competitor prices. FISFIX 390 is quoted factory-direct per project volume and destination port, with no distributor margin added. Send your volume and destination for a written FOB quote.
Does FISFIX 390 have an ETA like ETA-20/0541?
No. FISFIX 390 has no ETA or ICC-ES report. Its load tables are published in the TDS (values at rebar yield, no safety factor — the engineer applies code factors). Hilti HIT-RE 500 V4 references ETA-20/0541 in its TDS; fischer and Sika publish their ETAs in their current documentation. If your project specifies an ETA-assessed product, FISFIX 390 is not a drop-in substitute.
